Teacher Bios

Celinda was born and raised in Boulder Creek, CA.  She began dancing at the Boulder Creek Recreation Center at the age of three. She later moved down to Felton when the Ballet Repertoire Theatre opened and continute to dance throughout her high school years.  

 

She continued to dance in college and followed her love of dance to California State University, Long Beach where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance. Celinda owned and operated a children's mobile dance company for ten years, bringing dance to children in preschools, elementary schools and junior high schools.  Celinda then decided to open En Pointe Dance & Fitness Long Beach in 2012.  An all inclusive studio to bring dance and fitness to all ages and all walks of life.

 

She has performed in ballets such as "The Nutcracker," "Cinderella," "Alice In Wonderland," "Hansel & Gretel," "Sleeping Beauty" and many others.  Celinda is a certified Burn at the Barre instructor and is licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba Toning and Zumbatomics.  

 

Celinda has now moved back home to Boulder Creek and is so excited to be teaching at En Pointe -SLV, in the very same building that she grew up dancing.

Wendy Maness has had a love for music and dance since her teenage years. In 2016 she began taking Zumba classes and her feet have been on the dance floor since. As a new instructor, She is delighted by this new chapter opening in life and so happy to share the joy she feels while dancing with others. You can expect heart pumping cardio fitness and a whole lotta

fun from her teaching. Her Zumba class is a celebration of African and Latin rhythms that are  approachable to all levels and sure to make you smile. When she is not dancing, Wendy works in healthcare, supporting the people of her community. She is an oil painter, animal lover, musician and travel enthusiast.
